Cheryl Cole Music Video Still Gaining in Popularity

Cheryl Cole is being forced to sing partly live on The X Factor after plans to mime throughout her performance were met by scores of complaints from viewers. The sexy music videos for the song have seen many people watch the videos on popular music sharing sites, but Cheryl Cole will not perform totally live.

Show bosses have pulled plans for the Girls Aloud singer to record her performance of her debut solo single Fight For This Love hours before the live results programme on Sunday night.

However, fans will not be impressed to learn that Mrs Cole, 26, will still mime parts of the song and sing on top of a pre-recorded track, despite the show’s contestants having to sing live for her and her fellow judges.

A show source said: ‘Everyone on the show was thrown into panic mode when the truth about Cheryl’s performance came out.

‘It was then dictated that Cheryl would have to perform live after a series of hushed meetings, but she will definitely not be singing all-live.’
Mrs Cole, who is mentoring the boys aged 16-25 on the ITV1 show, admitted she was so nervous about Sunday that she had banned all the other members of Girls Aloud from coming to see her.She said: ‘There are just nerves in the building - the contestants are giving off nervous energy, their family and friends are giving off nervous energy, and on top of that I’m going to go out and sing, and on top of that Whitney Houston is going to also sing too!’ News that she planned to mime was met by scorn from fans on websites. One wrote: ‘It just seems a great pity, and rather pathetic. Any silly sausage can mime to a song that they know well enough to cajole the audience.’
