The World Cup 2010 Schedule Is Finalised

The World Cup draw took place on 4th December in Cape Town, South Africa. The fate of the various countries was decided by sporting greats from around the world. Among them was possibly the most famous footballer in the world at the moment, David Beckham. Thousands of people will now be able to book up their world cup packages to ensure they are a part of the action.The first match of the World Cup will be the Group A match between South Africa and Mexico in Johannesburg at 16:00. France and Uruguay are the two of countries in Group A. Group B is made up Argentina, Nigeria, Greece and Korea Republic, Argentina will be favourites to win this group despite almost failing to qualify for the finals. England and USA were drawn in the same group and will battle it out at the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg. Australia, Ghana, Serbia and Germany make up the countries competing to win Group D, the Germans will be hoping to make it through without a hickup. The current World Champions Italy were drawn in Group F and start the defence of their title against Paraguay, they will then take on New Zealand and Slovakia.Usual favourites for the title, Brazil, have be drawn against Portugal. Portugal had to rely on an extra qualifying game to be at the World Cup. Korea DPR and the Ivory Coast complete Group G. Brazil are considered by many as the best team in the world due to the great players they have, such Kaka and Ronaldinho.The European champions, Spain, are in Group H along with Honduras, Chile and Switzerland.
