Be Nice to the Dealer

If you choose to play brick and mortar poker, you choose to do so for the experience. A huge chunk of this live poker experience is the dealer. They are the ones that give you the cards; they are ones that you interact with. In many ways, a dealer is actually the only difference between online and live play. Give the pivotal importance of the dealer to your local live game; it is worthwhile to remind new players to be nice to the dealer. After all, there are always a few poker online players who are more used to dealing with machines than people.

A poker online player should always remember that the dealer is the person who makes the game run smoothly. They are one that makes it possible for you to enjoy your favorite pastime. Take a little to show your appreciation of all that the dealers do. For some people, this means tipping the dealer a little more than you ordinarily would. For other people, a heartfelt thank you will suffice. However you show your appreciation, make sure that the dealer knows that you recognize their effort. Make sure you are nice to this much underestimated part of the live poker experience.
